Ground Transportation:

The Pipeline and Hazardous Material Safety Administration (PHMSA) regulates the transportation of hazardous materials within the United States. PHMSA’s mission is to protect people and the environment from the risks inherent in transportation of hazardous materials – by pipeline and other modes of transportation. CBS employees ship numerous production hazardous materials such lithium batteries, aerosol gases, flammable liquids and hazardous waste.

Air Transportation:

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) is the trade association of airlines. The association is made up of 240 members comprise 84% of the total air traffic. The IATA Association has incorporated regulations set for by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). ICAO serves as the global forum for its 191 Member States. Amongst its many other functions supporting all aspects of international civil aviation, ICAO brings together States and key industry organizations to determine areas of strategic priority, develops policies and standards, coordinates global monitoring, analysis and reporting initiatives, and delivers targeted assistance and capacity building.
