PCBs

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulates the disposal of Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs) through the Toxic Substances Control Act.  In order to protect human health and the environment, PCBs must be disposed of in such a way that they do not enter the environment.  PCBs can be found in electrical light ballasts, capacitors, circuit breakers, and even waste oil from electrical equipment that contains PCBs.
